Alesis doesn’t have any solutions. Is it something you could explain? The thing is, before I posted to this board, I called Alesis’ support and explained what was going on, and they seemed to be in the dark and didn’t offer any solution other than “use a direct box,” which really won’t fix the problem. It happens at random also. Mar 5, 3: I have looked into what you suggested.

I need to input via USB!!! So it seems, that the noise and the weird way the two machines begin to interact, occurs after some time has passed in their having been connected. If your still having troubles, lets have you call into Technical Support and have an agent help you out over the phone. If no, your computer is not reading it. There’s no drivers on their site multimmix the Multimix 8 that I have.
However, when I tried the quick test, it is picking it up through the USB port. I’ll start recording, and everything sounds fine while recording.
Used the headphones in the Alesis, etc.
My Alesis Multimix 4 USB FX won’t connect to my Mac that’s running Yosemite
Apr 20, Jun 28, 7: Scratching my head here. Any solutions out there??? Many interfaces have multomix problems with recent updates to os x. And then when I went back to listen, after about 8 minutes I started getting the noise and fuzz mzc scratchy-like sound that’s been described.
The second problem is that I can get clean recorded tracks for the first few minutes that I’m on the MAC and Alesis, and then I start getting some noise after a little while, and can’t seem to get rid of it.
The first problem is that in order to hear any tracks I’ve already recorded such as drums for instance along alesls the TK I’m recording, I have to punch in both the Master to Control Room headphone switch on far right lower right and the Two Track to Control Room switch in middle, lower right.

It’s driving me nuts!
No drivers are need with this mixer as it’s a class compliant device. I had hoped that the 4. Max doesn’t have any solutions. I’d like to help!
Did you know that your browser is out of date?
Well,it is actually worse. Is there an updated driver to make this work? The fourth problem is latency by a few seconds.
It’s all great except that it won’t let me! Until I know more!
Funny thing is that I can record without a problem using a program called Peak 5. Ask a question Reset. I’ve also found that it happens in Mxc as well as GarageBand.
However, the 2Tk to Control Room seems to create noise on the track. I have looked into what you suggested. It’s definitely GarageBand causing this, because restarting the application cures it for the next two minutes.
